Trees of Swanholme

Trees of Swanholme, ah there are so many. Only a small percentage of the people who read my blog are actually from my home city, but if you are and you’re reading this have you ever been to Swanholme? It’s located next door to Hartsholme park, Lincoln?

These photographs are just a small part of Swanholme, a tiny fraction. However, it’s one of my favourite spots, A walkway of silver birch trees .his looks especially pretty in the summer when they’re fully bloomed and thriving.

These photographs were taken on my iPhone 12 max pro and edited using Adobe Lightroom, also on my phone. (Fun fact – about 15 minutes after this was taken I smashed my canon 6D into the ground by accident, obviously, and it’s currently in the hospital getting fixed..sob.)

I am usually a big fan of black and white edits but when it comes to these photographs, I must say I am more drawn to the colour image. I think it makes for a more interesting and kind to the eye image, however the black and white image is much more dramatic. Both photographs are home to a completely different mood, purely on how they’re edited. Isn’t that cool?
