Inside The Orangery

The Orangery at Belton House has always been quite underappreciated by myself in past visits to the national trust house but this time I paid quite a lot of attention to it on my visit. I feel like it’s right up my street at the moment with the aesthetic of it all, I plan on selling some of these images and printing some for my own house decor. Let’s take a look at the Inside The Orangery series.

If you visit the orangery on a hot day, you need to be able to handle your heat, it’s literally a giant greenhouse. We visited in the middle of September and I was sweating whilst walking around and snapping away. It was definitely worth it though as it certainly didn’t disappoint with the images I left with.

These images were taken with a Canon 6D alongside a 50mm 1.8 prime lens.

Please do not take any images from this site without first seeking permission from the photographer.

I absolutely adore one photograph in particular and this photo required absolutely no editing whatsoever, in fact editing the image actually made it look pretty bad. Straight from the camera was actually best. Others that I’m particularly fond of too is all the statues, I can’t wait to print those and place them around.
