Blea Tarn Cumbria

Hey! I’ve taken my sweet time posting this blog post but it better late than never, here it is. Blea Tarn Cumbria, photographs taken on the trusted Canon 6D. This day wasn’t as glamorous and as straightforward as we thought either. We live about 4 hours away from the Lake district so we made plans to set off early and planned our route, but it all went wrong then the route had a 2-hour detour you didn’t know about. So after 6 hours of travelling, we soon made it to our destination, however, we could have also made it to Scotland.

The weather also wasn’t exactly great but it wasn’t on the bad side either, we stayed mostly dry and that’s all that really mattered. We were braving the elements after the drive regardless, even if it was torrential rain and developing tornadoes. Due to the bleak, overly white skies, these photographs required some old school editing that I’ve not had to do for years, using all kinds of tools to bring out bits of detail in the image without taking it away from other parts too.
