Autumn Hartsholme Park

Hartsholme park is a gorgeous place for a walk at the best of times however, Autumn Harstholme park is just something else. It appears, during my whole life in Lincoln, I can’t remember a time that I was aware of that I went ot Hartsholme park during the Autumn.

Autumn is a beautiful season for sure, I’d go as far to say that it is far more beautiful than spring. Some may completely disagree with me there.

It was a brisk but sun-filled day. Stewart had just got his new camera and so we went to the local country park to grab some pictures. Ideally, we’d have liked to go a bit further afield but due to COVID, we are not entirely sure where we can or can’t go.

I’d have loved for the lake to have been a little bit more calm, as you can see in the image though, the lake was quite choppy and it didn’t really give me the desired shot that I wanted but the tree’s still looked beautiful.

I took full advantage of my wide angle lens on my iPhone and it managed to create some really stunning shots. The last photograph in this post was actually taken in panoramic mode on wide angle and the result was better than I expected that it would be.

My favourite shots are the shots looking up through the tree’s, especially the one where you follow the tree trunk up to the sky.
