Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp // Let’s Chat About That
I’m not one to invest so much of my time into celebrity news, however I’ve found myself religiously tuning in every weekday to watch the Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp Defamation trial. Whilst I’ve tried to keep an open mind and not take a side, the evidence or rather more, the lack off evidence pretty much speaks for itself and I most definitely have a side.
Did anyone notice though, Ambers change in demeanour when she became subject to cross examination, She’d literally gone from this high pitched very animated being to suddenly, her voice becoming a key or 2 lower. They say don’t they that if someone is lying they tend to up their voice a pitch or 2 and become over animated. It’s so weird to me as well how she can re-live such traumatic events and recover from hyperventilation as quick as she did and then never shed a tear when revisiting that subject during cross, it just doesn’t make sense, someone, make it make sense. The best evidence in this whole trial is her behaviour on that stand.
I won’t even get started on the Lawyers that Amber has employed, They’re either really, really dreadful or they’re purposely setting her up to fail, honestly, if she wins this it’s going to be absolutely tragic.
No matter who comes out on top of the Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp trial though, Amber has ultimately lost way more than she probably thought she would have and Johnny Depp has managed to regain some of what he lost down to her slander. This trial has made a mockery of real domestic abuse victims, no matter of gender. Victims are going to find it even harder to come forward and believe that they’re actually going to be believed.
I sincerely hope that Johnny get’s the outcome he hoped for by initiating this trial, he deserves it and the amount of general public all around the world believe he should get it too, it’s entirely up to the jury and we can all but hope that they can see what we can see. No matter the outcome though, Amber has ultimately destroyed her own credibility and reputation.
I will continue to write in this post anything that I find interesting in the up and coming week about the trial, we are onto the last stretch and hopefully, as the trial is due to conclude on the 27th May 2022.
